About Me:

From an early age, I recognized the power of fashion. From the presentation of oneself, to the perception of others, fashion and style impact the world around us to an unimaginable degree. My name is Amy Salcido, and over the course of my professional career I have sought to build upon the foundation established through my education at FIDM. I have spent more than 10 years in pursuit of my dreams, serving in a variety of roles that touch on the world of styling in a multitude of ways.

From the compilation of window displays as an intern at BCBG to assisting in the production of runway shows during New York Fashion Week, the experiences I have accumulated over the years have strengthened me as an individual and as a professional. I have worked hand-in-hand helping individuals while working as a personal stylist for Google, and I have worked with groups as part of what is arguably the most special day of a lifetime as a stylist with The Stylist Bride.

The bulk of my experience, however, has been on fashion show production with the most prominent Southern California production companies. A mix of charity runways, trunk shows, and South Coast Plaza luxury presentations provided me with the experience required to work with individuals from all walks of life. I understand the pressure of real-time presentation, and the art of planning for almost everything.
